THE FLEXIBLE MODALITY AND THE CHILECALIFICA PROGRAM AS A BET FOR THE CERTIFICATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS IN CHILE
Resumen:
Con base en una investigación realizada para obtener el título de doctorado en educación, se analiza el proceso de implementación de la modalidad flexible en el marco del programa Chilecalifica en los años 2000. Retoma los procesos de implementación del Programa y de la reorganización de la modalidad flexible en ese período como camino para la certificación en la educación básica y media de jóvenes y adultos en Chile. La investigación muestra las dificultades vividas por el Programa en su proceso de implementación, así como las limitaciones de esta modalidad para ampliar la certificación de jóvenes y adultos en Chile considerando el propio proceso de formulación de esta propuesta, de desarrollo del curso y la certificación para jóvenes y adultos en el país.

Abstract:
Based on an investigation carried out to obtain the doctorate degree in education, the process of implementing the flexible modality within the framework of the Chilecalifica program in the 2000s is analyzed. It takes up the process of implementation of the Program and the reorganization of the modality flexible in that period as a way for certification in basic and secondary education of youth and adults in Chile. The research shows the difficulties experienced by the Program in its implementation process, as well as the limitations of this modality to expand the certification of youth and adults in Chile considering the process of formulating this proposal, the development of the course and the certification for young people and adults in the country.
